President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan recently approved a token amount of 5 million naira each,to families of the murdered corp-members in Bauchi State.He also said any siblings of the 'heroes' would be offered automatic employment.


I commend the president for taking the step.While 5 million naira and employment incentives cannot make up for the unfortunate deaths,the president has shown his other good side.He is also a very sympathetic gentleman.However,real justice,as the parents said and we agree,would be when the perpetrators of this act are brought to book.While this represents a major challenge,I urge the president to put all hands on deck to ensure justice is done. Mallam Isa Yuguda of Bauchi State said,if he had the chance,he would shoot those hoodlums.Well,he has the chance to do that.All he has to do is contribute to making that happen.But first,they should be apprehended.
