The recent clash between the majority muslims and minority christians in Egypt, even after a highly successful and publicized revolution to oust former president Hosni Mubarak brought positive vibes amongst the people, has made people ask whether the revolution was actually the solution to Egypt's problems.
After Saturday's inter-faith conflict, where 12 people were feared dead, the prime minister Essam Sharaf has vowed to use iron fist on the people.
What I don't understand is why christians,as alleged, abducted a woman who converted to Islam.Unbelievable! In an Islam-dominated country?
Churches were burnt,as the muslims demanded for their new convert.
Now,what difference would the revolution have made,if religious crises continued?
I wish Essam Sharaf instills more discipline in this crisis-country.That way, people's support and acceptance of the 'Revolution at Tahrir Square' would be vindicated.
