It's heartbreak all the way for those who love Manchester United legend, Ryan Giggs. His manager, his teammates, his fans and friends must be utterly gutted.
Here was a man who embodied everything decent. He never did anything wrong on- and off the football pitch. Any player who needed encouragement was shown Ryan Giggs, a faithful servant of Manchester United. But just like Tiger Woods, he has been branded the latest 'sex addict' and the media can't contain their horror, even if they hid their joy.
I'm not bothered, even if he dated thirty-nine women. It isn't new. What I find more embarrassing is his affair with his younger brother's wife, Natasha. I would always respect him, but he has lost a bit of it. If he weren't, like Tiger Woods, a perfect man who did no wrong, I would have understood. Now, all he has put together for years, he has crashed.
What is it with these Europeans? An idiotic Natasha didn't want her husband and Gigg's wife to be in pains, yet she revealed her affair with Giggs. Wouldn't she have kept it secret and moved on, for everyone's sake? Arrant nonsense! She always wanted to hug the headlines. A chance presented itself, and she took it with open arms. Now a family is shattered. I say this because other affairs wouldn't hurt the way this did to the family.
For Giggs, he has to know he has one or two explanations to make to Fergie. Also, taunts from away teams next season would come in abundance, not just to him but the entire United squad. Anfield and Eastlands would not get tired of hauling obscenities.
Giggs has disappointed us. That's the fact.
