Self-imposed Ivorian president,Laurent Gbagbo has finally decided to step down from his self-awarded position and has asked to discuss the terms of his departure with UN.Me thinks that's unnecessary.When he was urged to leave,he clung on,not minding whose ox was gored.Now,hundreds have been killed,he wants to leave freely?Never.He must receive the same punishment he meted out on people.
This is a clear victory for democracy.Alassane Ouattara now has the chance to right Gbagbo's many wrongs.He would do that.I'm sure!
