For the first time, it seems, Manchester City have got a player because he genuinely deserves to be gotten, not because they desire to flex their financial muscle.
History has proved quantity without quality leads you nowhere far. Chelsea can attest to that.
Sergio Aguero, the Che Guevara of football (he is, he isn't) is arguably the best Manchester City signing so far, since those Dubai people bought them (okay, there's a whining Carlos Tevez). With all the qualities he possesses and with Tevez' insistence on leaving, Aguero would firmly ensure nobody would be missed. Mario Balotelli, Edin Dzeko and even Emmanuel Adebayor don't look like people to rely on, when Manchester United is to be toppled. But with Aguero's arrival, United would surely take their ''noisy neighbours'' serious. Aguero would bring them success on the pitch, and off it. Afterall, he is Maradona's son-in-law.
