The appointment of former Senate president, Anyim Pius Anyim, as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) came to me as good news. The Ebonyi state-born politician is the better, if not the best, option compared to the likes of Ojo Maduekwe. President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan revealed he was appointed due to his past records and his attitude. That is more than enough.
Also, Anyim is the best man to, not just replace Yayale Ahmed, but to represent the Igbo tribe. He is a very well-behaved gentleman. He makes nonsense to the general assertion that no gentleman exists in Nigerian politics.
This is a very positive coup for President GEJ. His appointment of Anyim has shown he intends to take this nation to greater heights. Take a bow GEJ. Take a bow APA. Nigeria would be great.
