The members of the House of Representative from the south east zone made their point lately,when they collectively made the resolution that anything short of the senate president or speaker of the House Of Representatives would be unacceptable.Speculation has been rife that the South East zone would be given just the Secretary to the Government of the Federation(SGF).But the lawmakers from that zone have said no to that.And rightly so.
I cannot understand why the Igbos would be treated with such disdain.Maybe tomorrow,we would be expected to settle for something less.
I have one advise for our dear president GEJ.The Igbo people played a vital role in making you whom you are today.Do you know the Lagosians that voted for you were all Igbos?Do the right thing.Do not let Obasanjo's influence make you forget the finger that fed you.Do the right thing.We are watching.
