Annie Okonkwo, the incumbent, now of Accord, would be wondering,'if only they didn't come out'. Prof Dora Akunyili of APGA would be thinking,'if only he later didn't come out'. Chris Ngige of the ACN would be feeling,'if only I came out earlier'.As for Chudi Ofodile of PDP,I guess he would be asking,'how did it get this bad in PDP?'
No matter how these heavyweights feel, however bad,one person must emerge victorious. While the people feel Akunyili would represent them well, they have this emotional attachment to Ngige. This all leaves Okonkwo and Ofodile nowhere.
Akunyili, with her federal might would have been coasting to victory, even before the election.Well,Ngige didn't want it so.Even though he started his campaign late,he is gathering heavy crowd.Whenever he moves on the road, people run round for broomsticks to wave on him.And everybody feels he would win.Where then does it leave Akunyili?
As long as people don't get sentimental towards Ngige, then she would be the winner.Even the best political analyst cannot predict the winner. No wonder I'm faltering!
