So he finally came to Abia after much talk by his political godson.
Much had been said by the governor of the state concerning the impending arrival of the president to the South-East,nay,Abia State.Prior to that, the state radio had made much noise about it,political opponents had been warned not to show themselves there and the day was declared work-free.What we never realised was that it was not equally declared 'walk-free'. No moving vehicle, both private and public, was allowed to move around and everyone walked their way through - the army had a field day flgging everybody who dared move around, just because the 'messiah' was coming.
Well,we consider him one, anyway, else he would not have gotten the loud ovation he had. What really struck me was the reaction of the people when Ochendo made his way to the public.Almost unrecognised due to his height,he managed to dance his way through.Unfortunately, his efforts weren't appreciated,as every of his statements met a chorus of boos from the aggreived and difficult-to-deceive Abians. This is an indication that he has his work cut-out in this coming election.
Well,as Dame Patience Jonathan said, put your votes where you find the 'Umblerra' Chikena!
