Could it be true? Maybe. Maybe not. If actress Nkiru Sylvanus is dating governor Rochas Okorocha, it surely wouldn't be new. After all, Ini Edo has been linked with Dimeji Bankole and Mercy Johnson with governor Adams Oshiomole. What would be unfair is when the news has no substance.
So far, the only proofs are Nkiru's appointment as Face of Hope for Rochas foundation, after beating off challenges from the likes of Bob-Manuel Udokwu, and her recent appointment as Special assistant to governor Rochas, despite being from Abia state; proofs without substance.
First, she is big and popular enough to beat other celebrities to a particular appointment. Then again, she mustn't date Rochas to be given a political post. A lot of movie practitioners have been involved in politics lately. Or, if we apply such logic, then Hilda Dokubo must have dated Peter Odili and those female nollywood glo ambassadors should be dating Mike Adenuga.
You could say I talk because I like Rochas, or because Nkiru and I are from same state. Maybe. But there are still no proofs. And if there were, they hold no water. And even if they were actually dating, what next?
